Spindle Restoration Kits
Maximum toolholder-to-spindle contact is critical for optimal tooling performance. Unfortunately, over time, milling debris, coolant, and oil can build up and gall onto the surface of the spindle, creating high-spots that affect this contact. Eventually, these high spots will increase spindle wear and tear resulting in expensive maintenance, and negatively affect tooling performance and tooling life.
The Spindle Restoration kit contains everything you need to remove galled on debris without damaging or changing the grind of your spindle. Used with the Spindle Cleaning kit, the restoration process will effectively remove the high spots and add life to your spindle and tools.
Available in 30, 40, 45, and 50 taper sizes, the kits include:
